FAC joins CMS equIP Programme for Start-Ups

FAC was first conceptualised pre-2019 with leading fund managers. Since then, FAC’s evolutionary journey has gone from strength-to-strength with FAC launching its first prototype, engaging directly with regulators as part of the FCA Regulatory Sandbox, undertaking proof of concept engagements with numerous fund managers and transfer agents and acquiring funding. The journey has been a highly inclusive one, with FAC leading both educational workshops and a solutions-focused Risk and Compliance Working Group, engaging with individuals participating from reputable industry bodies, fund managers, transfer agents, banks, infrastructure providers and law firms.

As FAC continues to expand and explore global jurisdictions, building out legal foundations which support local regulations is a crucial step in our evolutionary journey. An enabling and inspiring legal partner helps ensure that tailored advice for our business is globally accessible. We are delighted to be a part of the CMS equIP programme which works with start-ups in the technology sector to support their growth and helps start-ups scale by providing a full suite of legal services specifically tailored to high-growth businesses. Joining this programme not only provides us with discounted legal fees, but also access to a wider CMS network and community. As a leading DLT firm moving into an exciting growth phase, we look forward to engaging with CMS and the wider CMS network which includes a community of founders, venture capitalists and investors.
